Pikvector respects the intellectual property and copyright rights of creators, contributors, customers, businesses, and other rights holders.
This Copyright Policy explains how copyright applies to content available on Pikvector, including free assets, premium assets, contributor-submitted content, photographs, images, videos, vectors, illustrations, templates, and other digital creative resources.
By using Pikvector, you agree to comply with this Copyright Policy, our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, applicable license terms, and all applicable copyright and intellectual-property laws.
1. Copyright Ownership
Unless otherwise stated, all original content available on Pikvector is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual-property laws.
Copyright in an asset may belong to:
Pikvector
An independent contributor
A photographer
A videographer
An illustrator
A graphic designer
Another copyright owner or licensor
Downloading or purchasing an asset from Pikvector does not transfer ownership of the copyright to the downloader or purchaser.
Instead, the customer receives only the rights expressly granted under the applicable license.
All rights not expressly granted remain with the applicable copyright owner.
2. Types of Content on Pikvector
Pikvector may offer different categories of digital content, including:
Free assets
Premium assets
Stock photographs
Stock images
Stock videos
Vectors
Illustrations
Graphic templates
Design resources
Contributor content
Editorial content
Other digital creative assets
Different assets may have different license conditions.
Always check the license associated with an asset before using it.
3. Free Assets
Pikvector may make certain assets available for free download.
A free asset does not necessarily mean that the asset is free of copyright.
Free assets remain protected by copyright unless the asset is specifically identified as being in the public domain or otherwise released under a license that provides different rights.
Free assets may be used only according to the license displayed or associated with the particular asset.
4. Attribution for Free Assets
Some Pikvector free assets may require attribution to the creator or Pikvector.
Where attribution is required, the user must provide attribution in the manner specified on the asset's download page, license page, or applicable license agreement.
An attribution requirement may include information such as:
"Designed by [Creator Name] via Pikvector"
or another attribution format specified by Pikvector.
If an asset's applicable license requires attribution, removing or intentionally hiding the required attribution may constitute a violation of the license.
5. Premium Assets
Premium assets are digital assets that require payment, subscription access, credits, or another form of paid authorization.
Premium assets may include:
Premium vectors
Premium photos
Premium images
Premium videos
Premium illustrations
Premium templates
Premium design resources
Payment for a premium asset does not normally transfer copyright ownership.
Instead, the customer receives a limited license to use the asset according to the applicable Pikvector license.
6. Premium License
Unless a different license is expressly stated, a premium download grants the purchaser a non-exclusive, limited, non-transferable license to use the downloaded asset according to the applicable Pikvector license.
The license does not grant ownership of the original asset.
The customer may modify the asset where the applicable license permits modification.
All uses must remain within the permitted scope of the applicable license.
7. Prohibited Use of Assets
Unless expressly permitted by the applicable license, you may not:
Resell the original asset as a standalone file.
Redistribute the original asset.
Upload the original asset to another stock-content website.
Make the original asset available for free download.
Share premium downloads with unauthorized users.
Claim that you created an asset that was created by another person.
Remove copyright notices or required attribution.
Sell or sublicense the original source file.
Create a competing stock-content library using Pikvector assets.
Use Pikvector assets to create a service where users can independently extract or download the original asset.
Circumvent Pikvector's download or licensing restrictions.
Use an asset outside the rights granted by its applicable license.
8. Templates and Source Files
If Pikvector provides an editable template or source file, downloading the file does not automatically give you the right to redistribute the original template.
You may use and modify the template only as permitted by the applicable license.
Unless expressly allowed, you may not:
Resell the template itself.
Upload the template to another marketplace.
Distribute the source file.
Give the source file to unauthorized third parties.
Create a competing template library from Pikvector templates.
9. Vectors and Illustrations
Vectors and illustrations available on Pikvector are protected by copyright unless otherwise stated.
A user may modify a vector or illustration for a permitted project where the applicable license allows modification.
However, modification does not automatically transfer copyright ownership of the underlying asset.
You may not claim exclusive ownership of the original Pikvector asset merely because you modified it.
10. Photos and Videos
Photographs and videos may contain identifiable people, locations, trademarks, products, buildings, artwork, or other protected elements.
Use of such content may be subject to additional rights and restrictions.
Before using a photo or video commercially, users should review:
The applicable license
Model-release information, where relevant
Property-release information, where relevant
Editorial-use restrictions
Trademark considerations
Any other restrictions displayed with the asset
Pikvector does not guarantee that every asset is suitable for every possible commercial or legal purpose unless expressly stated in the applicable license.
11. Editorial Content
Certain content may be designated "Editorial Use Only."
Editorial content is generally intended for uses such as:
News reporting
Documentary content
Articles
Educational reporting
Commentary
Other permitted public-interest or editorial purposes
Editorial content should not be used for advertising, commercial endorsement, product packaging, promotional campaigns, or other commercial purposes unless the applicable license expressly permits such use.
Users are responsible for checking the applicable license before using editorial content.
12. Commercial Use
Some Pikvector assets may be licensed for commercial use.
Commercial use may include permitted uses such as:
Advertising
Websites
Social media
Marketing materials
Presentations
Promotional videos
Printed materials
Business communications
Other permitted commercial projects
Commercial use does not mean unrestricted use.
The applicable license determines what commercial uses are permitted.
13. Logos and Trademarks
Unless expressly permitted by the applicable license, Pikvector assets should not be used as the exclusive element of a trademark, service mark, trade name, or logo.
A stock asset generally cannot provide exclusive trademark rights because the same asset may be licensed to multiple users.
Customers should obtain appropriate professional legal advice before attempting to register a logo or trademark containing third-party stock content.
14. Merchandise and Print-on-Demand
Use of Pikvector assets on products for resale, merchandise, print-on-demand products, or similar commercial products may be subject to additional restrictions.
Examples may include:
T-shirts
Mugs
Posters
Calendars
Greeting cards
Merchandise
Packaging
Printed products
Digital products
You may use an asset for merchandise only if the applicable license expressly permits that use.
You may not sell the original asset or a substantially unmodified version of the asset as the primary product unless expressly permitted.
15. Copyright Ownership of Contributor Content
Contributors generally retain ownership of the copyright in the content they submit to Pikvector unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
By submitting content to Pikvector, a Contributor grants Pikvector the rights necessary to host, display, promote, distribute, and license the content according to the applicable Contributor Agreement and license terms.
Contributors must have the necessary rights and permissions before submitting content.
16. Contributor Requirements
Contributors must not upload content that:
They do not own or have permission to license.
Infringes another person's copyright.
Infringes trademarks or other intellectual-property rights.
Violates privacy or publicity rights.
Contains unauthorized personal information.
Contains unlawful material.
Was copied from another stock website without permission.
Was obtained from another website without appropriate licensing rights.
Pikvector may reject or remove content that violates these requirements.
17. Copyright Infringement Reports
If you believe that content available on Pikvector infringes your copyright, you may contact us.

Your complaint should include enough information for us to identify and investigate the alleged infringement.
18. Information Required for a Copyright Complaint
Where applicable, a copyright complaint should contain:
Your full name.
Your contact information.
Your email address.
Identification of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
A description of the copyrighted work.
The URL or specific location of the allegedly infringing content on Pikvector.
A description explaining why you believe the content infringes your rights.
Evidence showing your ownership or authorization to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
A physical or electronic signature where legally required.
A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or applicable law.
A statement that the information provided is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner, where applicable.
Providing complete information can help Pikvector investigate the complaint efficiently.
19. Investigation of Copyright Complaints
After receiving a sufficiently detailed copyright complaint, Pikvector may:
Review the reported content.
Contact the relevant Contributor.
Temporarily disable access to the content.
Remove the content.
Request additional information.
Restrict an account.
Take other appropriate action.
Pikvector does not guarantee that every complaint will result in removal.
We may consider applicable licenses, ownership information, permissions, fair-use or other legal doctrines, and other relevant circumstances.
20. Counter-Notice
If content has been removed or disabled because of a copyright complaint, the affected Contributor or user may contact Pikvector to dispute the claim.
Where applicable law provides a formal counter-notification procedure, the counter-notification should contain information required by the relevant law.
Pikvector may review the counter-notice and may restore content where appropriate and legally permitted.
Nothing in this section creates a legal procedure where one is not required by applicable law.
21. Repeat Infringers
Pikvector may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts of users or Contributors who repeatedly infringe copyright or other intellectual-property rights.
Depending on the circumstances, Pikvector may also remove or restrict access to associated content.
22. False Copyright Claims
Copyright complaints should be made only when the complainant has a genuine basis for believing that infringement has occurred.
Knowingly submitting false, misleading, fraudulent, or abusive copyright claims may result in rejection of the complaint and may have legal consequences.
Pikvector may take appropriate action against repeated abuse of the copyright-reporting process.
23. Copyright Protection of the Pikvector Website
The Pikvector website itself, including its original:
Website design
Layout
Text
Graphics
Branding
Logos
Icons
Database structure
Original promotional materials
Original software and code
may be protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may not copy or reproduce substantial portions of the Pikvector website without appropriate authorization.
24. Copyright and AI / Machine Learning
Unless expressly permitted by the applicable license, Pikvector assets may not be used to:
Train artificial-intelligence models
Train machine-learning models
Build datasets
Create automated image or video-generation datasets
Develop competing stock-content databases
Systematically collect assets for AI training
Any AI-related use must comply with the specific license applicable to the asset.
Pikvector may introduce separate AI-related licensing terms in the future.
25. Downloading and Archiving
Users may download assets only for legitimate purposes permitted by the applicable license.
Systematic downloading, scraping, bulk copying, automated collection, or stockpiling of assets for purposes outside the applicable license is prohibited.
Pikvector may limit or suspend downloads where it reasonably detects abuse, automated downloading, unauthorized sharing, or other violations.
26. License Verification
Pikvector may maintain records relating to downloads, purchases, accounts, and licenses.
Users should retain relevant:
Purchase receipts
Download records
License information
Order IDs
Subscription records
These records may be useful if a licensing question arises in the future.
27. License Changes
Pikvector may introduce different license categories for different types of assets.
For example, Pikvector may offer:
Free License
Standard License
Premium License
Extended License
Editorial License
Enterprise License
The exact rights and restrictions applicable to an asset will be stated in the relevant license or purchase information.
Where a specific asset license conflicts with a general provision of this Copyright Policy, the specific asset license will control to the extent of the conflict.
28. Removal of Infringing Content
If Pikvector determines that content may infringe copyright or other rights, we may remove, disable, replace, or restrict access to the content.
Where appropriate, we may also notify the relevant Contributor or account holder.
Removing content does not necessarily mean that Pikvector has made a final legal determination that infringement occurred.
29. Previously Licensed Content
If an asset is removed from Pikvector because of a copyright dispute, previous valid licenses may be affected only to the extent permitted by the applicable license and applicable law.
Users should retain evidence of their valid license or purchase.
Pikvector may provide additional instructions to affected customers where appropriate.
30. Third-Party Copyright
Pikvector may contain links to third-party websites or services.
Pikvector does not control the copyright practices of third-party websites.
If you believe content on a third-party website infringes your rights, you should contact the relevant website or rights holder directly.
31. No Transfer of Copyright
Unless an explicit written agreement states otherwise:
Purchasing, downloading, or using a Pikvector asset does not transfer copyright ownership to you.
You receive only the rights granted under the applicable license.
All copyright and intellectual-property rights not expressly granted remain reserved.
32. Changes to This Copyright Policy
Pikvector may update this Copyright Policy from time to time.
Changes may be made to reflect:

New license types
